چکیده

We report Cu NMR studies on uniaxially aligned and unaligned powder samples of an electron-doped infinitely-layered high Tc cuprate superconductor Sr0.9La0.1CuO2 (Tc =42 K). We measured the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T1 up to 800 K. We found from the temperature dependence of 1/T1T that the wave-vector-averaged spin susceptibility is highly enhanced by spin-fluctuations in the normal state, resulting in a Curie-Weiss behavior. Below Tc, we did not observe a Hebel-Slichter coherence peak of 1/T1, suggesting an unconventional nature of the symmetry of the superconducting order parameter. These results are quite similar to those observed for some hole-doped high Tc cuprates.

Unconventional superconductivity in electron-doped layered Li0.48(THF)yHfNCL.

We report magnetic susceptibility measurements on a layered superconductor Li0.48(THF)0.3HfNCl having Tc approximately 26 K. The present study revealed that (a) the Fermi level density of states is small, N*(EF) approximately 0.25 states/(eV spin f.u.), (b) mass enhancement is negligible, gamma; approximately 1, (c) electron-phonon coupling is weak, lambda(ep)<<1, (d) exchange enhancement is ne...

An Electronic Model for CoO2 layer based systems: Chiral RVB metal and Superconductivity

Takada et al. have reported superconductivity in layered NaxCoO2.yH2O (Tc ≈ 5 K) and more recently Wen et al. in AxCoO2+δ (A = Na, K)(Tc ≈ 31 K). We model a reference neutral CoO2 layer as an orbitally non-degenerate spin1 2 antiferromagnetic Mott insulator on a triangular lattice and NaxCoO2.yH2O and AxCoO2+δ as electron doped Mott insulators described by a tJ model. It is suggested that at op...

ادغام الگوی شبکه‌ای هولشتاین - کاندو برای توصیف نظریه ابررساناهای دمای بالا

It is a common knowledge that the formation of electron pairs is a necessary ingredient of any theoretical work describing superconductivity. Thus, finding the mechanism of the formation of the electron pairs is of utmost importance. There are some experiments on high transition temperature superconductors which support the electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions as the pairing mechanism (ARPES),...

Why does undoped FeSe become a high-Tc superconductor under pressure?

Unlike the parent phases of the iron-arsenide high-Tc superconductors, undoped FeSe is not magnetically ordered and exhibits superconductivity with Tc approximately 9 K. Equally surprising is the fact that applied pressure dramatically enhances the modest Tc to approximately 37 K. We investigate the electronic properties of FeSe using 77Se NMR to search for the key to the superconducting mechan...

Doping dependence of spin excitations and its correlations with high-temperature superconductivity in iron pnictides

High-temperature superconductivity in iron pnictides occurs when electrons and holes are doped into their antiferromagnetic parent compounds. Since spin excitations may be responsible for electron pairing and superconductivity, it is important to determine their electron/hole-doping evolution and connection with superconductivity. Here we use inelastic neutron scattering to show that while elec...
